“The woman I could have been”: a sad comedy
“In 30 years you didn’t manage to develop any personality whatsoever!”
Description: Just when she is about to turn 30, the main character looks at the mirror and realizes she has grown to become what the world calls “a failure”. For this she blames the dominant and militant feminine members of her family and decides they are the reason why she never developed to be the woman she could have been. Following this grim understanding, she sets on a 24 hours journey to settle with each one of them towards the new decade of her life. So we meet her grandmother, mother, twin sister and aunt, each holding another wild agenda about life and the human and feminine existence…
With humor and pain, the play handles the dynamics we have with our family and as a consequence with the world…
